3.1 – Stick Figures

A summer after the events of the Season 2 finale, everything and nothing seems to have changed. The start of their Junior Year, Vivian is still trying to get her comic strip off the ground with some unexpected help from Sterns in Archibald’s absence. When she comes face to face with Jamie we get the impression that something happened after the kiss that had so many screaming at their screens. With Sophie needing a friend, a familiar face staring at them from the opposite platform is the last they needed to see.

3.2 – Far Away

A glimpse into the summer between seasons and everything is upside down in the world of ABM. VivSter is all but oficially broken and Aster is far away making fast friends with Carey, an architecture student with eyes for the stranger that has wandered into her life. With Vivian and Sophie figuring out their friendship, Aster seems more than happy being lost on the other side of the country.

3.3 – Something Old Something New

With the summer past and the students of Clarence High starting their Junior Year we see how Vivian and Sophie’s friendship has grown, and also meet the man in Sophie’s past who has been kept secret until now. Still on the other side of the country Aster seems happy with Carey, but with reminders of Vivian at the turn of a page, just how long can she keep running away?

3.4 – Mapping Home

The summer is coming to an end and Aster realises it is time to head home. Sophie is still unsure of her feelings about her first love, as too is Vivian. With no one sure of their feelings what happens next is still undecided. However, with the return of Dr Glass, one of the few people Aster listens to and confides in, perhaps it is time that decisions were made.

3.5 – 2,500 Miles to You

In the final episode of S3 we come full circle. Aster accepts that it is time to stop running from her feelings and decides to go and see Vivian in Westchester, with a little prompting from another familiar face. With no one but each other, with nowhere left to go, Vivian and Aster are left to accept what it is each of them want and decide whether that includes each other.
