As the official Award Season draws to a close with only the Oscars left to decide, ABM celebrates their Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media. A first for the WGA but certainly not the first award for ABM or Susan Miller and Tina Cesa Ward, and almost certainly one of many more to come.
“Big Emotions” – Big Love for ABM
With talk of love and romance filling the air during the season of hearts and chocolates I’m reminded of the romantic gestures that characterised ABM during happier times. Chivalrous deeds and declarations of love. We can only hope that these big emotions will lead to happier times in Season 3.
One of the few cast members left to sit in the ABM Mastermind Chair I wanted to see if Alexis Slade could match the knowledge of ABM’s other ladies. Would she be the one to topple Tina Cesa Ward from the leader board? Could she out do her former classmate’s score? Surely someone can give them a fight for the ABM Mastermind title…
“New York State of Mind”
NY’s skyline is iconic, and any story told within its limits is immediately has a sense of familiarity even for those who have never wandered along its sidewalks. ABM is a timeless and universal story that still manages to use NY as a backdrop to enhance the stories being told.
With the men of ABM thus far making a poor showing on the leaderboard it was time for Garett Ross to see if he could cause an upset amongst the current standings. He was taking on no easy task, but haivng set the bar at a comfortable level, he was more than happy to let us find out just how well he knew his ABM…
“The UMC Contenders”
With the ABMers stepping up to the Mastermind Challenge there has been a feeling that perhaps the questions were a little too simple, and that it wasn’t fair they all got asked different things. Those criticisms are dismissed as six brave (perhaps foolish) ABMers step into the ring for the Ultimate Mastermind Challenge. Let’s meet the contenders.
